Announcing Arkansas Assault 2009

The State Highpoint Tequila Team of Texas is pleased to announce Arkansas Assault 2009.  In light of my recent flu-cation and recent information regarding Nate's lack of a job on Friday we decided the time is ripe to check off another state from our "to climb" list.  Saturday, May 9 will mark our climb of Arkansas's highest peak, the 2,753 ft Mount Magazine.  We plan to depart Friday, overnight with connections nearby, and climb and return on Saturday.  Current weather reports suggest that conditions will be less than ideal for this climb, but having just completed a weekend hike in a driving rainstorm the SHTTT no longer fears rain (though we maintain a healthy respect for lightning as we value our lives).  Pictures and stories will be available soon after we complete the trip.
