Though March is outside the traditional climbing season the team could likely accomplish either task with minimal problems. 12637 ft. Humphreys Peak in Arizona is well within the scope of mountains already climbed by the team though a March ascent would be complicated by snow on the slopes, and at 1772 ft. Missouri's Taum Sauk Mountain poses no technical challenge.
The SHTTT declined comment saying they were focusing their energies on making Legendary Road Trip 2010 a reality. Single highpoints have become less of a focus for the team as all the states near their base in Texas have been climbed. However, due to their relative isolation the highpoints of Arizona and Missouri are excellent candidates for a single state trip.
